Why are tree inspections important?

Trees are alive! Much like us, they grow, experience life stages, need attention and are susceptible to injury, illness and disease. Also like us, they require regular check-ups. If you have a concern involving a tree, please do not hesitate to reach out to our team!

What is an arborist report?

Arborists are the doctors of trees! We use tools and clues provided by the tree to form an understanding of the specimen’s health. An arborist report includes specimen name, height, diameter, and crown spread and identifies any potential threats to the health of the tree or to the safety of the occupants and/or properties.

What is a tree risk assessment?

A tree risk assessment is used for already-identified hazardous trees. This report is not limited to one property; it can be used on overhanging trees from neighboring properties as well.

A tree risk assessment uses a standardized 2-page form provided by the International Society of Arboriculture. The form asks in-depth questions regarding the specimen’s health, including signs of deficiencies. It results in an overall risk rating and provides options for mitigative responses.
